My own gaming and entertainment platform - designed, built, and operated by me. Features a browser-based retro arcade with 50+ console emulators, casino games, board games, card games, an e-commerce store, and a rewards system. Fully browser-based with no downloads required.
Knowhere
A full-stack media discovery platform covering movies, TV shows, and retro gaming across 20+ classic console platforms. A passion project exploring content aggregation and complex navigation at scale.
eXobe
A multi-vendor marketplace platform combining e-commerce and service-based offerings into one unified ecosystem. Vendors can sell physical products and offer bookable services from a single dashboard, with built-in scheduling, real-time communication, payments, and admin moderation.
Memento 3D
An e-commerce platform for a business that transforms personal photos into 3D-printed lithophane sculptures. Customers upload images which are converted into detailed 3D models and printed as unique keepsakes that reveal their image when backlit.
LMS Transport Solutions
A professional website for a moving and storage company operating nationwide across South Africa. Features service pages for household, office, and long-distance relocations, secure storage solutions, fleet management, and an integrated quote request system. Over 20 years of experience and 2,500+ successful moves.

About
A developer who's been on both sides of the table.
I'm Alex - a full-stack developer, team leader, and tech consultant based in South Africa.
I've spent nearly a decade building software for some of the world's most recognised brands, leading development teams across South Africa, the Philippines, and the Netherlands, and teaching hundreds of aspiring developers how to code at university bootcamps and community organisations.
As a former Head of Development, I've managed agile teams delivering tailor-made solutions - from booking systems and delivery apps to property management platforms and health tech products. I run Darkpoint, my own gaming and entertainment platform. And I've delivered over 50+ projects across enterprise, government, and consumer-facing products.
I hold a Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Leadership, seven Microsoft certifications, and an ISTQB software testing certification. I believe in staying sharp and continuously learning.
I now take on select consulting and development projects for startups and businesses who need serious technical capability - without the overhead of a full agency.
